THERE ARE SEVERAL WAYS YOU CAN FUND FUTURES AT OUNDLE
You can choose to direct your gift to one or more of the following funds
BURSARIES ENDOWMENT FUND
This fund has grown from nothing to around £10m in twenty years, alongside other major fundraising projects. The income it generates supports bursaries enabling a range of children to enjoy the full benefits of Oundle, with the capital being looked after by an expert board of Trustees. We want to focus on growing the endowment further, for the benefit of the whole School community.
BURSARIES ANNUAL FUND
This is for those who prefer that the whole of their donations be used immediately, rather than invested. Such donations have supported hundreds of pupils with awards ranging from 10% to 100% since 2013. The administration of these programmes, and the vital outreach activities which help us to serve and support children from a very wide range of backgrounds, are resourced by the School itself.
SOCIAL IMPACT FUND
A new fund which will support the School's burgeoning work in Partnerships with the maintained sector. Such work enables Oundle to have an impact on hundreds, if not thousands of additional children every year through specific activities which bring pupils and teachers together. We are founding members of the OPEN Learning Partnership and are a key outreach partner of Imperial College London.
In the unlikely event that we are blessed with greater funds than are required for any of these purposes, surplus funds may be redirected to another charitable purpose of the Foundation at the discretion of the Trustees. Wherever possible, donors will be contacted in advance of such a decision.
For over 20 years, The Oundle School Foundation has enabled our ancient School to pursue both the excellence which is its constitutional mandate, and the accessibility which we proudly recognise as our social duty. Our ability to do both depends entirely on the generosity of those who have chosen to share the benefits that they have received. It will continue to do so in future. By contributing to either the Bursaries Endowment, to the Annual Fund for immediate use, or to our new Social Impact fund in support of our partnerships with other local schools, you will be a part of changing lives for the better."
